REPORTED CASES OF BREAST
CANCER GLOBALLY

For women, breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed type of cancer worldwide.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer, accounting to 1/8 cases of overall cancer diagnoses worldwide.

In 2020, approximately 2.3 million people worldwide were newly diagnosed with breast cancer and approximately 685,000 died from the disease.

By 2040, it is estimated that the number of newly diagnosed breast cancer patients will increase to more than 3 million per year (40% increase).

However, breast cancer is also known to be a type of cancer that may be cured in 90% of the diagnosed cases, as long as it is found and treated at an early stage.
